Community Tree of Life Project

This exciting community project, working with the Project Factory CIC, to create a tree-mendous mosaic panel is now complete. We are in the process of gaining permissions for its installation in a location yet to be revealed somewhere in Wells.

​​We have been supported by funding from Somerset Skills & Learning to offer workshops for members of the community to come along and learn how to design and make the mosaic leaves. We were overwhelmed by the response, resulting in a fantastic 105 individual leaf mosaics!

We are hugely grateful to a loyal and dedicated team of volunteers who attended sessions in Ruth's workshop, over many months, working on the background of the mosaic.
