​​​​These one day workshops always prove popular. They are designed to be a fun, creative escape for anyone looking to explore or develop their mosaic making skills.

 

Whether you're a complete beginner or have previous experience, the aim of the day is to encourage creativity to mixed ability levels in a friendly and informal setting. 

​

With over 20 years of experience in creating fine art, domestic and public mosaic works, professional mosaicist Ruth, will guide you through each stage of the process.

 

Key learning points for the day, which will be geared towards participants' individual experience, include transferring your design onto a 20cm square board for a 'direct method' mosaic, full instruction on using tools, cutting and laying tiles, plus how to grout and finish your completed project.

No drawing skills required as a variety of design options with be provided.

An array of colourful tiles will be available for you to have fun with. 

 

Fee includes all materials, expert tuition and use of tools.
